I chose Taku Readers twice because of the lens size and soft headband, but I’ve had others from clic in the past. My optometrist carries them. Clic works for me by keeping my readers handy and mostly safe because they don’t hang and swing into my way as they would if they were on strings. I work with my hands and there is nothing worse than trying to keep my glasses away from equipment I’ve working with if they are hanging by a string around my neck. I am hard on my readers and they last a lot longer on a short tether that is possible using the clic magnet technology. There will always be that time that I will do something stupid and sit on them, step on them or and other dumb human thing, but with clic that happens far fewer times than in the past. There are probably folks out there who can make them last forever. Wish I was one of them.
